Sunday the 13th at Shawnee Mission Park is the annual Shawnee Mission Triathlon
Or guys will be there bright and early to handle all your last minute adjustments etc before the race.

During the week are the regular club rides, check the JCBC site for the ride calender

Saturday the 19th is the HSP Dirt Lovin' good Times series 3/6 race at Shawnee Mission Park.

But the big event of the month, the one our own zeke lives for, is the RAGBRAI.
The Registers Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa.
Its a week long rolling party across the state of Iowa.
Thousands of cyclists roll the hills and flats of Iowa for a 6 day journey across the state.
It runs the 20th to the 26th.
Worth checking out if you like to ride and like to have a good time doing it.
According to zeke once you do it, even if you only do a day, you have to do it again.
We believe this is zeke's 7th trip and this year he is doing it self supported.
He mentioned something yesterday about doing blog posts from the road, but we will see how that works out.

Looks like that wraps up the rest of the month... don't think we missed any thing.
But it we did drop us a line and let us know. We like to try and stay ahead of the game.

Its gonna be a hot one out there for a while. Remember to take care of yourself out on your rides.
Lots of water and sunscreen are the ticket for the rest of this month and through August.
